Kingdom Come Fest, IN

Undefeated has traveled and performed throughout the Eastern and Central United States for 5 years, completing their first month-long tour in August of 2022. In 2023 they expanded their territory, bringing the western and southern states under their belt. Currently, they are headed to Mexico (yes, MEXICO!) to play Exodo Fest in March 2024.

This young rock band has won multiple awards, been a part of the Kids Rock for Kids International shows (featured on THE KELLY CLARKSON SHOW), local Anti-Violence concert series, Hope for Worcester in MA, and MULTIPLE music festivals (Exodo Fest, Mexico - Creation Fest, PA - Kingdom Come Festival, IN - Soulfest, NH - River Rock Festival, ME - Cream Cheese Festival, NY - Northcountry Music Festival, NY - AudioFeed, IL - Chains Unchained, MO - Break the Chains, PA - Brew York, NY). Undefeated was direct support for the last three headliners of Northcountry Music Festivals (Brother’s McClurg, Seventh Day Slumber, Ignescent) and direct support for War of Ages on Soulfest’s metal stage.

Undefeated’s original rock songs are topping 50,000 total views on Youtube. Who would have thought within 6 years this band who lives in a small town in upstate New York would have performed throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico?
Undefeated originally came together from 3 very different musical backgrounds. The drummer (Christian) is a die hard djent/metal/screamo fan. Former bassist (Ian) was born and raised in classic rock. You know, The Beatles, Zeppelin, the whole thing. Now Lis (current bassist), brings her own spin of metal into the mix. Then there’s Meredith (vocals/guitar). “I LOVE to sing. You can’t take a singer and stick her in one genre. The trick is melding these three sounds without losing what God gave each one. The whole is greater than the piece.”

River Rock Music Festival, ME

The Beginning:
“Believe it or not, the host of the Rock N Worship Festival in Dalton, MA, walked up to me (Meredith…the gal with green hair!) boldly proclaiming “I want to get you up on stage!”
So, I went. I had just turned 14. There were all ages and genres at the Rock N Worship Fest; metal to reggae to gospel. Something clicked, these people were like me! They understood who I was. I asked my younger brother (a rockin’ drummer) a couple weeks later to start a band, and he said “YES!”
We decided from the beginning that if God was in this, He would build and direct it His way. We first played on the lawn of a bookstore!”

The heart of Undefeated’s music is in their lyrics. Lacey Sturm of Flyleaf is Meredith’s go-to influence. The unique layers and layers of meaning behind the single lines mix with war-like drum riffs (Can drums do riffs? If they can, Christian does!) After splitting with their former bassist, their younger sister Lis joined the group, rounding out the now-family band.

Meredith:

20 | Lead Vocalist | Guitarist

“I can’t get enough of music. It’s healing, it’s inspiring, it paints a picture like nothing else can. That’s why I write.”

Meredith loves weightlifting, pushing herself mentally and physically. Christian doesn’t work for his muscles and she totally resents him for that. But, she hates running. Let that fact be known.

She also loves baking and works at a local bakeshop part time!

     P.s. Pineapples are superior.

Christian:

19 | Drummer | Vocalist

Christian lives for avoiding the typical 9-5 job. “It would kill me. Absolutely KILL me.” He started screaming because the band needed more metal, and to him that was the way to go. He first saw Random Hero on the Rock Fest Tour, fell in love, and wanted to try it out himself.

He wants to make a living playing, and strives towards that as he completes his second year of community college. He’s also an avid soccer player.

    His inspirations:

Gojira: The drum technicality is impressive.

T00L: The way they groove is insane.

    Wage War: The screams.

He also thinks he can run a marathon with no training. (Yeah, I know. We tried to tell him. *Facepalm*)

2024 update: He did it, ladies and gentlemen.

Lis:

16 | Bassist

Lis is 17, a junior at Lowville Academy, and picked up the bass two years ago (pretty cool, huh?!) She loves to dance, having been trained as a classical ballerina. One of her dreams is to take the strength and artistry of classical ballet and meld it with the passion of metal music.

Impending Doom sets her soul on fire. She loves the lyrics, the drum beats, EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM!

When asked what drives her: “Meredith and Christian. They make being in a band very fun, even though they’re annoying at times.”

Family:

Undefeated is 3 of 6 kids!

Enjoy a bunch of baby photos!
